Holly Candy is a festive treat combining marshmallows, cornflakes, and vibrant green color, topped with cinnamon candy—perfect for holiday gatherings and sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • 18 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • green food coloring
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • red cinnamon candy

Instructions

  1. Melt the marshmallows and butter in the top of a double boiler.
  2. Add vanilla and almond extracts, then add green food coloring to achieve the desired color.
  3. Pour the mixture over the cornflakes and mix quickly while hot.
  4. Grease fingers well and pull off pieces of the mixture.
  5. Top each piece with red cinnamon candy.
  6. Refrigerate the candy pieces to set before serving.
  7. Keep refrigerated as the candy will become soft at room temperature.
