Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 40 marshmallows
  • 4 to 4 1/2 cups corn flakes
  • 2 teaspoons green food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 package red hots

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and marshmallows in a double boiler.
  2. Add vanilla and green food coloring to the melted mixture.
  3. Stir in corn flakes until well coated.
  4. Keep the mixture warm while dropping by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
  5. Top each cookie with a red hot candy.
  6. Allow to set before serving.
