Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/3 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix peaches, sugar, butter, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix biscuit mix, brown sugar, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture into the hot peach mixture.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
  5. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Serve hot with light cream or ice cream.
