Ingredients

  • 30 oz. can white hominy
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/4 cup green pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 16 oz. can tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Saute onion and green pepper in butter.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned; drain.
  3. Add salt, black pepper, chili powder, sugar, and tomatoes.
  4. Stir and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add hominy and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
