A spicy, cheesy hot chili-beef dip with bold flavors from ground beef, green chiles, and melted Cheddar, perfect for serving with tortilla chips at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar picante sauce
  • 1/2 c. hot taco sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain off pan drippings.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, picante sauce, hot taco sauce, chili powder, chopped green chiles, and salt.
  4. Spoon mixture into a chafing dish.
  5. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips.
