Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 lb. ready-to-eat ham with bone
  • 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Using a sharp knife, remove the layer of skin from the ham, leaving a thin layer of fat to keep the meat juicy while baking.
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern without cutting into the meat.
  3. Place a whole clove in the center of half the diamonds.
  4. Brush the top of the ham with Dijon mustard.
  5. Place the ham in a roasting pan and bake according to your preferred method.
