Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup strong black coffee
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp soft margarine
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°.
  2. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and honey together.
  4. Add sugar and mix again.
  5. Mix coffee with baking powder and add margarine to the egg mixture.
  6. Add baking soda, flour and cinnamon and beat together well.
  7. Pour into greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour.
