Tips & Substitutions

For a more robust flavor, consider using loose leaf tea instead of tea bags; just strain it before serving. You can substitute agave syrup or maple syrup for honey if you want a vegan option. If you prefer a less sweet drink, reduce the honey according to taste. Fresh ginger can also be added for an extra zing.

Serving Suggestions

This refreshing ice tea pairs beautifully with light summer dishes like salads or grilled chicken. For a festive touch, serve in clear glasses with the frozen fruit slices. You can also garnish with fresh mint leaves for added color and aroma. Consider serving alongside a light dessert like Yummy Fruit Salad Pie.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover Honey-Citrus Ice Tea in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will meld together over time, enhancing the taste. Avoid freezing the tea, as it may alter the texture and flavor. Always serve chilled for the best experience.
