Ingredients

  • 1 (4 to 5 lb.) turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Heat honey, sherry, and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice and salt.
  3. Pour honey mixture over turkey breast and let stand, covered in refrigerator for 3 to 5 hours.
  4. Place turkey breast on smoker grid and baste.
  5. Baste once again when almost done.
