Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups nuts
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons superfine sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Line a jellyroll pan with foil and grease the foil.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, butter or margarine, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; bring to a boil.
  4. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Measure nuts into a medium bowl. Pour the honey mixture over the nuts and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Spread the coated nuts on the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the nuts are glazed and lightly browned, being careful not to burn.
  8. Cool the nuts in the pan for 20 to 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil from the pan and transfer the nuts if desired.
