- Dice the bacon and sauté until crisp.
- Remove bacon from skillet and set aside.
- Saute minced onion in the bacon grease until translucent.
- Remove onion from skillet.
- Add cooked peas, butter, water, and shredded lettuce to the skillet and cook until the lettuce is wilted.
- Add the cooked bacon and sautéed onion back to the skillet.
- Heat through and serve.
