Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 lb. brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 gal. melted vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • dash of allspice

Instructions

  1. Mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, and powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. Add the melted vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice to the mixture.
  3. Mix well until smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Pour the batter into containers and freeze.
  5. Thaw slightly before using.
  6. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of batter to a cup and pour boiling water over it to serve.
