Ingredients

  • 4 qt. whole milk
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 4 eggs
  • rum extract to taste

Instructions

  1. Cream the egg yolks and sugar until light in color.
  2. Heat the milk to boiling point and add a little to the creamed mixture, stirring.
  3. Gradually blend the creamed mixture into the pot of milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Fold beaten egg whites into the hot milk mixture.
  5. Add the desired amount of rum extract.
  6. Serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
