Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can sliced pineapple, drained
  • 29 oz. can cling peach halves, drained
  • 16 oz. can apricot halves, drained
  • 29 oz. can pear halves, drained
  • 10 maraschino cherries, drained
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or oleo, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Drain pineapple and reserve 2 1/2 tablespoons of juice.
  3. Put all fruit on paper towels so the fruit is dry.
  4. Arrange pineapple, peaches, apricots, and pears in a 2-quart casserole dish, then top with cherries.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, and ground ginger.
  6. Pour the brown sugar mixture evenly over the arranged fruit.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
