Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 cups mild Cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Peel potatoes and slice thinly into a 2-quart baking dish. Add salt water.
  2. Cover the dish.
  3. Cook on High for 18 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the potatoes.
