Quacker Jacks are a crunchy, sweet and nutty popcorn treat with a rich caramel flavor, perfect for snacking at gatherings or movie nights with friends and family.

- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a large saucepan, melt 2 sticks of butter or margarine over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar, light corn syrup, and salt to the melted butter; stir until well combined and bring to a boil.
- Boil for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in baking soda; mixture will foam.
- Pour caramel sauce over the popped popcorn and peanuts, mixing well to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture onto a greased baking sheet or large roasting pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
