Ingredients

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 1 c ketchup
  • 1 c water
  • 2 Tbsp Tabasco sauce
  • 3 or 4 pounds meat (cubed beef or pork rib)

Instructions

  1. If using pork or if there is excess grease from cooked meat, add a tablespoon of lemon juice to the sauce.
  2. Combine salt, crushed red pepper, black pepper, chili powder, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chopped onions, ketchup, water, and Tabasco sauce in a saucepan.
  3. Simmer the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally, until well combined and heated through.
  4. Add cooked or raw meat to the sauce, allowing it to marinate or coat thoroughly before serving.
