A refreshing, layered icebox dessert combining angel food cake, vanilla pudding, strawberries, and jello, perfect for summer gatherings and family celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups cubed angel food cake
  • 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 small package strawberry jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 large box frozen strawberries

Instructions

  1. Place cubed angel food cake in the bottom of a large, rectangular pan about 2 inches deep.
  2. Mix vanilla instant pudding, cold milk, and vanilla ice cream until well combined, then spread over the cake layer.
  3. Mix strawberry jello with boiling water until dissolved.
  4. Add frozen strawberries to the jello mixture.
  5. Pour the strawberry jello mixture over the pudding layer and refrigerate until the jello sets.
  6. Serve chilled once set, yielding approximately 12 to 15 servings.
