Imperial Chicken Bake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients.
  2. Dip each breast in milk; dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Arrange in a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  4. Combine butter, garlic and lemon juice; drizzle over chicken.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes, or until tender.
  7. Yields 6 servings.
