Ingredients

  • 2 cups enriched self-rising flour
  • 3 packages (1.21 oz each) instant breakfast (chocolate, vanilla, or eggnog)
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Stir together the flour and instant breakfast mix.
  2. Blend shortening and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Add dry ingredients; mix well.
  6. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and flatten them.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
  8. Cool on wire racks.
