Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6.5 oz. instant potato flakes
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 3 teaspoons chopped onions
  • 2 oz. pimento, drained and diced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat water and milk in a heavy saucepan to boiling.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add potato flakes, cream cheese, chopped onions, drained pimento, chopped chives, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir until blended.
  5. Cover and keep warm.
