Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine melted butter, 1 beaten egg, and the yellow cake mix in a bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add 2 beaten eggs, vanilla, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt to the cream cheese. Mix well.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer in the pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 35 minutes or until set and golden.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
