Ingredients

  • 16 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/3 c. margarine
  • 16 to 18 oz. sausage
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 can water chestnuts

Instructions

  1. Use either 3/4 pound of skinned link sausages or sausage meat shaped like links.
  2. I usually cook the meat part way first.
  3. Use either Short Crust or Flaky Pastry.
