- Cook the macaroni shells until al dente, then rinse and drain.
- Brown the ground chuck in a skillet.
- Add salt and pepper to the ground beef.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Line the bottom of a lasagna pan with half of the cooked shells.
- Spread half of the sour cream over the shells.
- Sprinkle half of each shredded cheese over this layer.
- Repeat the layers with remaining shells, sour cream, and cheese.
- Cover the pan and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
- Uncover and bake until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
