- Pour boiling water over soaked gelatin and blend briefly to dissolve.
- Cool the mixture slightly.
- Add cashews and blend until thoroughly liquefied.
- Add remaining ingredients: yeast flakes, salt, garlic powder, lemon juice, and grated carrot.
- Blend until the mixture reaches the consistency of a creamy sauce with no bits of carrot visible.
- Pour into a 1-quart mold and cool slightly.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight before serving.
- After firming in the refrigerator, the cheese may be frozen until needed.
