Ingredients

  • 8 oz. rotini noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini according to package directions.
  2. Saute the ground beef and onion together.
  3. Drain off excess fat; add salt, chili powder and pepper.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add soup, water, rotini, kidney beans and half of the cheese; mix well.
  6. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Serves 6 to 8.
