  • 3 1/2 cups self-rising cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Wesson oil
  • 1 cup creamed corn
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 3 fresh jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
