Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup jalapeno peppers, sliced thin or chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses and place in a large glass baking pan.
  2. Spread sliced or chopped jalapeno peppers on top of the cheese layer and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, evaporated milk, and beaten eggs until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture evenly over the cheese and peppers in the baking pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into squares and serve.
