- Combine margarine and sugar until creamy.
- Add beaten egg and set aside.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Stir in minced unpeeled apple.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and sour milk to the margarine mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
- Transfer the batter to an oiled 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes.
