Tips & Substitutions

For optimal flavor, consider using a mix of mushroom varieties such as cremini or shiitake alongside the fresh mushrooms. If you don't have margarine, unsalted butter can be a great substitute. You can also replace the white wine with vegetable broth for a non-alcoholic version. Make sure to sauté the onion until translucent for a sweeter taste.

Serving Suggestions

These stuffed mushrooms make a fantastic appetizer or side dish. Pair them with a light salad or serve alongside crusty bread for an enjoyable meal. They also complement pasta dishes beautifully and can be enjoyed as part of a vegetarian spread, making them a versatile choice for your next gathering.

Storage & Reheating

Leftover stuffed mushrooms can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until heated through. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the mushrooms soggy and diminish their texture.
