Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 stalks celery with leaves
  • 1/2 cup chicken bouillon

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients, except the chicken liver, into a large pan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Turn heat to simmer and cook for 2 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken and strain the broth.
  5. Use the broth for soup, stew, or enjoy it as is.
