A quick and flavorful Japanese-inspired pasta dish featuring tender flank steak, vibrant vegetables, and a savory soy sauce glaze, perfect for a satisfying weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. spaghetti or linguine
  • 12 to 16 oz. flank steak
  • 1/3 c. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 bunches scallions

Instructions

  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. In a nonstick skillet, saute the flank steak over high heat. If it begins to stick, add a little soy sauce, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  3. When the steak is cooked through, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the soy sauce, red bell pepper, carrots, and scallions.
  4. Increase heat to medium-high and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the steak and vegetables mixture and serve.
