Jeanne's Fruit Cake is a rich, chewy treat packed with marshmallows, dried fruits, nuts, and coconut, perfect for festive occasions or as a sweet snack.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. marshmallows
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Pet milk
  • 1 lb. graham crackers
  • 1 lb. chopped pecans
  • 1 lb. raisins
  • 1/2 lb. candied fruit
  • 1 lb. coconut

Instructions

  1. Prepare a double boiler for melting ingredients.
  2. Mix marshmallows, sugar, Pet milk, chopped pecans, raisins, candied fruit, and coconut thoroughly in the double boiler.
  3. Pour the mixture into a prepared dish and press down firmly.
  4. Top the cake with red cherries and additional pecans for garnish.
  5. Allow to cool and set before serving.
