Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) boxes raspberry jello
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. In oblong dish, dissolve jello in boiling water.
  2. Add cold water.
  3. Add crushed pineapple, marshmallows and nuts.
  4. Stir and let set.
  5. Make a topping by cooking sugar, flour, egg, 1 cup pineapple juice and margarine together in saucepan until thick. Cool and add Cool Whip.
  6. Spread over jello layer.
  7. Sprinkle small amount of nuts on top for garnish.
