Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels, broken
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 20 ounces frozen strawberries
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Bake in a 400°F oven for 8 minutes and then let cool.
  3. Dissolve the strawberry frozen strawberries in 2 cups of boiling water.
  4. Combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  7. Spread the cream cheese and Cool Whip mixture over the strawberry layer.
  8. Refrigerate until set before serving.
