Ingredients

  • 1 large package cherry jello
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 jar Duke sandwich spread
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the cherry jello in 2 cups of hot water and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, cranberry sauce, chopped nuts, and the jar of Duke sandwich spread.
  3. Add the cooled jello mixture to the bowl and stir well.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Mix everything thoroughly and pour into a mold or dish.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until set, about 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Optional: Add more pickles or eggs as desired before setting.
