Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (6 servings) instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the all-purpose flour with baking soda and set aside.
  2. Combine softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla pudding mix, and vanilla in a large mixer bowl.
  3. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, then stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden around the edges.
