Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (9 oz.) box white Jiffy cake mix
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour cherry pie filling into a greased 8 x 8-inch cake pan.
  2. Sprinkle dry white Jiffy cake mix evenly over the cherry filling.
  3. Pour melted margarine over the cake mix layer.
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
