Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 4 oz. noodles (egg noodles)

Instructions

  1. Boil noodles for 5 minutes and drain.
  2. Saute ground beef and minced onion until cooked, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add tomato sauce and mushroom soup to the meat and onion mixture, stirring well.
  4. Stir in the cooked noodles.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and top with grated cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes until hot and bubbly.
