Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or old-fashioned food grinder on the finest blade, grind the peanuts until thoroughly pulverized.
  2. For crunchy peanut butter, leave a few peanuts minced for texture.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine peanut oil, salt, sugar, and honey.
  4. Heat the mixture until warm, but not hot, to prevent hardening.
  5. Pour the warm mixture into a bowl and add the crushed peanuts.
  6. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  7. Allow to cool before storing or serving.
