Ingredients

  • 3 lb. carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup softened margarine
  • 2 (6 oz.) packages chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Scrape carrots and remove ends.
  2. Cut carrots into julienne strips.
  3. Add carrots and sliced green onions to 1 inch of salted boiling water.
  4. Cover and simmer until tender, about 25 minutes.
  5. Drain the carrots and green onions.
  6. Toss with softened margarine and chopped walnuts.
  7. Season to taste and serve.
