Ingredients

  • 1 pie shell, baked
  • 2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3/4 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant pudding
  • 1/3 c. Kahlua
  • extra whipped cream and toasted almonds as needed

Instructions

  1. Brew the instant coffee in hot water.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate.
  3. Mix the hot water with the instant coffee and melted chocolate.
  4. Add the milk and stir well.
  5. Prepare the instant pudding mix as directed using the milk and Kahlua.
  6. Fold whipped topping or whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
  7. Pour the filling into the baked pie shell.
  8. Garnish with extra whipped cream and toasted almonds as desired.
  9. Chill the pie before serving.
