Ingredients

  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 2 c very warm water
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 4 c self-rising flour
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine and mix the dry yeast with the very warm water.
  2. In a bowl, combine the melted margarine and sugar, then add the egg and mix well.
  3. Add the yeast and water mixture to the bowl and stir.
  4. Gradually add the self-rising flour and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Place the dough in a container with a tight lid and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  7. Put spoonfuls of dough into well-greased muffin tins.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
