Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 (1 lb) boxes confectioners sugar
  • filling of your choice (such as apricot, nut, prune, poppy seed, by Baker)

Instructions

  1. Let the butter and cream cheese sit out until room temperature.
  2. Cream together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the flour to the creamed mixture and combine well.
  4. Form the mixture into one large ball.
  5. Pinch off small portions to form about 50 small balls.
  6. Refrigerate the balls overnight before baking or filling.
