Ingredients

  • 7 cups Kix cereal
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon soft tub margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place Kix cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, light corn syrup, and margarine.
  3. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the syrup mixture over the cereal and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the mixture in an 11 x 7-inch dish sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.
  7. Press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into 24 bars.
