Instructions
- Work dough until it can be gathered into a ball.
- Refrigerate 1 hour on lightly floured board.
- Roll out 1/8-inch thick.
- Cut diagonal to form diamonds 3-inches long.
- Cut 3/4-inch slash in center.
- Pull one tip through to form 1/2 knot.
- Fry until lightly browned in fat; don't crowd at 375°.
- Drain on paper.
- Makes 100 to 120.
