Sweet and crunchy saltine cracker candy with chocolate and pecans, perfect for sharing at gatherings or as a delightful homemade treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 40 Saltine Crackers
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 stick real butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup pecan chips

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and cover with saltine crackers.
  2. Melt the margarine and butter in a saucepan and add brown sugar.
  3. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the crackers and spread evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top, spreading as they melt.
  7. Sprinkle pecan chips over the chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate until cooled.
  9. Peel the foil off the back of the candy and break into bite-sized pieces.
  10. Enjoy!
