- Drain excess fat and liquid.
- Add tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture.
- Cover and simmer the sauce for 40 minutes.
- Cook whole grain lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Layer the sauce, noodles, and sauce again in a baking dish, ending with a layer of sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
