Lasagne Bolognese

- Melt the margarine in a saucepan.
- Blend in the flour, milk, and cream to make the sauce.
- Stir over moderate heat until the sauce bubbles and is smooth.
- Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste.
- Cook lasagne noodles in boiling salted water until al dente.
- Strain, rinse with cold water, and spread on a damp towel to dry slightly.
- In a large pan or dish, spread a thin layer of Meat Sauce Bolognese, then a layer of cream sauce and cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes until bubbly and browned on top.
- Allow the lasagne to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Cut into portions and serve, yielding approximately 6 to 8 jumbo servings. Optionally add cottage cheese or more Parmesan or mozzarella cheese on top.
