Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 (1 pound) package frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can Durkee French fried onions
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, seasoned salt, chopped cooked chicken, thawed and drained vegetables, 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, and 1/2 can French fried onions in a bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture into a greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 425°F for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, egg, and milk to form a soft dough.
  5. Spoon the biscuit dough over the hot chicken mixture to form a lattice design.
  6. Bake, uncovered, at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
  7. Top the lattice with the remaining cheese and French fried onions.
  8. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until the cheese melts and the onions are slightly browned.
